Have questions?
How does the Fresh Pick garden grow herbs without soil?
It's a hydroponic system, which means your herbs grow in water rather than soil. A built-in pump circulates water and oxygen to the roots, so your plants get what they need to grow clean and fast, with no dirt and no mess on your bench.
How many herbs can I grow at once?
It has 9 pods, so you can grow up to nine plants at a time - a mix of your favourites like basil, mint, coriander and parsley, all growing together on your bench.
Do I need a sunny window?
No. It has its own full-spectrum LED grow light (6000K bright white), so it provides the light your herbs need to grow. You can place it anywhere, even in a kitchen with little or no natural light.
Do I have to remember to turn the light on and off?
No. It runs on an automatic timing cycle - working 16 hours and resting 8 hours - so the light manages itself. You just leave it switched on and let it do the work.
How will I know when to add water?
It has a 2L water tank with a low-water alarm, so it lets you know when the level gets too low and it's time to top up. Otherwise it simply runs on its own between refills.
Does it need to be plugged in?
Yes, it runs on mains power (AC 110-240V) with the included adapter, so it stays powered for continuous growing. It uses just 15W, so it's economical to keep running.
